This Christmas Season, we are focusing on looking outward and helping those outside of our church family. We would like to bless families in the community who rely on the Salvation Army Food Bank.
Every year our local food bank helps families in need from their Hanover & Chesley sites. Their Christmas Assistance program provides a turkey, gift card for extra groceries for Christmas dinner, and gifts for children up to age 17. In speaking with their staff, we have learned that there are many young families in need of support. Alongside food and toys, this year some items needed the most are for the youngest kids (under 5), including formula, diapers (up to size 6) and wipes.
We will be collecting food, items and funds from now until December 18th!
Donation needs: food & hygeiene products, monetary donations, items for kids under 5 & gifts for kids 12 and up

For just $25, you can put a big smile on the face of a VOH child this holiday season!
In our world it is easy to see children in need everywhere we look. Through ERDO, you can give a gift in your loved ones name that will make a huge difference in the life of a child facing extreme need.
ERDO gifts bring clean water to rural villages and provide emergency food to families facing drought, hunger and disaster. Some of the gifts you can give include: Clean Water, Farm Tools, Gorgeous Goat, Jobs for Youth, Seeds, Fluffles for Families, and more.
Many of the gifts are matched by the Canadian Gov, meaning your gift goes even further!
As a church, we support Pastor & Mrs. Zowa at the Village of Hope as well as Felix & Cecelia Chiriseri in South Africa monthly. If you would like to help us bless their ministries this Christmas, please direct your donation to "Missionary Support."
