Prayer is an essential part of our relationship with God, a relationship that is built on faith and trust in Him. The bible calls us to "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances" - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Daily, personal prayer builds consistency in our lives that brings us closer to God. Acts 4:24-31 tells of how Christians gathered together in prayer for there is strength in numbers.
